The Exceptional Women Alliance Foundation (EWA), announced today that after interviews with multiple candidates, Nicole Mouskondis, Co-CEO of Nicholas and Company, has been selected as an Awardee for 2021. Founded by Nicholas Mouskondis 80 years ago in 1939, Nicholas and Company is a third-generation family owned and operated food service company, now the single largest independent food distribution service in the Intermountain West.

"We are delighted that Nicole has joined our EWAs. Nicole personifies integrity, service, caring and leadership and those qualities make her a valued contributor to her community, her company and our network," commented Larraine Segil, Chair and CEO of EWA. "When Nicole shared her background as a USA award winning gymnast, we knew that her tenacity and disciplined approach to life and business would be a winning combination as an Alliance."

"I am so honored to join the EWA leaders, and to share our story with them, as well as learn from the amazing diversity of women and industries that are represented by EWA. At Nicholas and Company, we believe in servant leadership, and make supporting our community an integral part of our belief system and corporate culture. It is clear to me that EWA shares those values, and their mission to enable high level women to reach for the stars is one to which we subscribe."
