The Exceptional Women Alliance (EWA) announces the selection of Winter 2023 awardee, Dr. Meghan McGovern, Owner and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at RenewalMD. She is trained and educated in the classical tradition and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She then spent the next six years engaged in surgical training at
Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She completed the combined program in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. McGovern is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She was awarded a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for her unique dermal filler technique.
