The Exceptional Women’s Alliance (EWA) congratulates Shruti Miyashiro on next chapter

The Exceptional Women’s Alliance (EWA) is proud to recognize that Shruti Miyashiro, Exceptional Alliance from Cohort 9, will be transitioning from President and CEO at Orange County’s Credit Union to President and CEO at Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU), one of the largest credit unions in the nation.


As President and CEO, Shruti worked closely with the Board of Directors and led Orange County’s Credit Union for 14 years. She established a strong leadership team that, in partnership with the Credit Union’s talented Board, will continue to drive their commitment to their Associates, Members, and Communities. Orange County’s Credit Union was regularly recognized as “Best Place to Work” and “Best in State Credit Union” by Forbes magazine with Shruti leading. She was relentlessly focused on continuous improvement and was deeply committed to the people, both within the organization and the community it served.


Miyashiro will bring the same powerful leadership and strategic skills to DCU. With over 25 years of experience, she is positioned to drive growth at DCU with her continued dedication to member service excellence and passion for the credit union industry.

Shruti Miyashiro

Miyashiro is actively involved in the credit union industry, both in California and nationwide. She currently serves on the Board of Jack Henry & Associates and is a member of the Advisory Committee for the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. She also has held Board positions with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, Co-op Solutions, Western CUNA Management School, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County, among others. Miyashiro holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of California.
